Top of Half Dome Yosemite*3-Day, 2-Night Trip – All Inclusive
*Discover Half Dome!
*Learn Natural History and Biology of Yosemite
*Expert Guides with Local Knowledge
*Fully Insured and Permitted Guides – Don’t Settle For Less!

This is an Incredible Adventure to one of Yosemite’s Treasures! The hike to the top of Half Dome from the valley floor is a 16.4-mile, 2-day hike with a 4,737-elevation gain up to 8,884 feet. Most of the trail that leads to Half Dome is the John Muir trail which starts at Happy Isles (and leads all the way to the summit of Mt. Whitney 210 miles away!). Half Dome is a magnificent crown of granite and plutonic rock that thrusts up into the air from inside the Yosemite National Park – it is truly a glory to behold.

*3-Day Trip: $1500

We will meet Friday evening and camp out in Curry Village. On Saturday, we will begin the hike up to the top of Vernal Falls and Nevada Falls via the Mist Trail. The Vernal/Nevada Falls Loop is considered to be among the park’s most scenic hikes. Then on to Little Yosemite Valley and to the shoulder of Half-Dome, where we will camp for the night. Sunday we will get up early and do an early morning ascent of Half Dome. Mid-morning snack on the top of Half Dome, then descent and hike out to the Valley Floor.

Tips About Hiking: Hiking is a personal adventure. Find a rhythm for yourself and stick with it. Remember that you are in no hurry and are out to enjoy yourself. Have good boots that are well broken in. Just pay attention to your body and enjoy.

NOTICE – Regarding dates and permits:
The most common question we get about this trip is “I’ve heard permits for Half Dome are very hard to get – if I book this trip are the permits included?”  The answer to that question is “yes”, however permits and trip dates are not guaranteed until 24 weeks in advance of a trip.  The park service only allows us to submit to the permit lottery 24 weeks before a departure date.  So if you register for a trip that is more than 24 weeks away, you will receive a “preliminary confirmation”, meaning your spot is booked with us as long as we are able to get the permit.  Once that 24 week mark comes, we will contact you to either confirm that permits were received, or give you the option to be refunded or reschedule if permits were denied.
