Santa Cruz, CA - May 1, 2006 - Adventure Out, California's leader in outdoor adventure will begin offering classes in wilderness survival and primitive skills beginning in the Spring of 2006.
Have you ever wondered what it would have been like to live amongst the Native Californians? Come learn how in this exciting new program! With the help of Tom McElroy, former head instructor at the world renowned Tracker School, Adventure Out has developed a wholly unique program to give participants an introduction to the world of primitive skills and survival.
Starting with the new "Wilderness Skills & Survival Clinic", this one day course will teach the basics of indigenous survival. Without the use of any modern technology, students will learn the basics of Shelter, Water, Fire, & Food from a perspective that promotes harmonious and sustainable use of our natural resources.
Classes are held throughout the Bay Area amongst the majestic redwood forests of Northern California. A variety of programs will be offered from the 1-Day clinic, to week-long overnight camps.
