Rock Climbing Anchors - Top Rope Setup Class

Rock Climber Anchor Rappel*6 Hours of Climbing Instruction
*All Gear Included
*Supportive, Expert, Certified Guides
*Fully Insured and Permitted Climbing School – Don’t Settle For Less!

You know how to belay and have begun exploring the world of climbing. Would you like to learn how to set up your own top ropes so you can start venturing out on your own? Then this is the class for you! This is perhaps the MOST IMPORTANT CLASS you can take in order to climb safely on your own, so we’ve expanded it to 6 HOURS!! Our goal is to educate you about basic anchor construction for top rope climbing. We emphasize safety and hands on skill practice, getting you one step closer to setting up top ropes safely.

*1-Day Workshop: $145
*w/ Express Pass: $135

In this 6-hour clinic we will teach and practice the knots and anchor set-ups common for top roping at bay area climbing destinations. You will learn how to set up bolted anchors as well as how to anchor to natural features such as trees and boulders. This class does not include climbing; the main purpose is to give you the skills and resources to be able to climb on your own. There is no education out there more important than learning how to set up your own anchors and top-rope systems safely.

In order to take this class we strongly encourage you to have climbing experience (either in a gym or outside) and knowledge of basic safety skills (belaying and climber tie-in knots). Your own gear is not required, but bring it if you have it!
