Privacy Policy
We don’t share your private information with anyone, ever.

Terms & Conditions
When signing up for a class, trip, or program and/or purchasing products you are authorizing charges to your credit card.  Refund & Cancellation terms will be displayed to you at the time of purchase:

Cancellation/Refund Policy
Private Programs:
Most private programs are non-refundable – check your private booking agreement and/or invoice for details. All policies (usually non-refundable) will always be displayed on your invoice or in your program agreement for all private programs.

Regular/public classes and trips:
There is a 7-day cancellation policy for all 1 and 2-day Clinics, Classes, & Lessons; and a 28-Day cancellation policy for all multi-day kids camps, medical certifications (WFR / WFA), and overnight Adventure Trips (backpacking trips, survival immersion course, ec). Any cancellation made before this time will receive a full refund (minus a $5 per person PER CLASS DAY cancellation fee – for example a 2-day class would have a $10 fee per person, a 3-day class would have a $15 fee, etc). Reschedules/transfers will also be charged the $5 fee PER DAY outside of the 7/28 day period as well. Once within the cancellation period (7 days or 28 days respectively), there will be no transfers, reschedules, or refunds allowed. REGARDING TARDINESS: Being more than 10 minutes late to a class, lesson, or trip shall constitute a no-show and forfeiture of all funds. We work hard to give our clients a great experience, but we cannot do that for all participants if some show up late. If you are more than 10 minutes late to your reservation, you will be turned away and will not be eligible for a refund, reschedule, or compensation of any kind. Please respect the other students in your program and your instructors schedule, and BE ON TIME.

COVID CANCELLATIONS OR POLICIES:
The Federal and California state of emergency have expired. We no longer have special policies, terms, or cancellation options for COVID – our normal cancellation policy (above) applies for any and all cancellation reasons.

Gift Certificate Use & Refund Policy
Adventure Out abides by California state law regarding the sale of gift certificates pursuant to Civil Code Sections 1749.45-1749.6:
-Gift Certificate purchases are non-refundable (except when the un-used balance falls below $10 – see below).
-Gift Certificates do NOT expire (unless they were given away for free or donated for promotional purposes, in which case certain restrictions may apply – purchased gift certificates do not expire).
-Gift Certificates will always be honored at their paid dollar value – prices of Adventure Out’s services may increase at any time and do not affect the value of a gift certificate.
-Gift Certificates are not redeemable for cash unless the unused balance is $10 or less.
-If a Gift Certificate recipient uses a gift certificate and has an unused balance greater than $10, a new gift certificate will be issued for the unused balance.
