Mountain Biking II is for the "Advanced Beginner" looking to progress (intermediate and above level riders should email us to book private coaching sessions). This course is geared for people who know the basics and want to learn how to take it to the next level with their riding and repair. The morning hours of the course will consist of bicycle fitting, demonstration of repair for requested situations, and skill assessment. At mid-day, we will mount up and shred the trails for real life, on-the-fly experience in the beautiful Santa Cruz Mountains!

**This course is 4 hours “parking lot to parking lot” – meaning there is about 10-15 minutes of setup and cleanup on each end, as well as an introductory clinic and fitting on flat ground before heading out on the trails.  To set appropriate expectations, you can expect approximately 3 hours of riding in the 4-hour course.

Each rider has a vision of where they want to be, we want to help you paint that picture. Specific attention will be given to individuals and an assessment with personalized training plan will help each person ride down the path they desire.

Clinics are held in the majestic Santa Cruz Mountains. Directions, maps, recommended packing lists, and other details will all be provided upon registration.

Your clinic includes:
Professional instruction on specific topics of focus such as: the proper bike and components for the style of riding preferred, sprints, climbs, spinning on the flats, log obstacles, lifting the front/rear wheel off the ground, hopping, banked turns, down hills, roots, rock gardens, switch backs, jumps, and drops.

Your packing list:
Bring your own bike & helmet – or rent from us! You will be given the option to add bike and helmet rental during checkout. Additionally we recommend comfortable/active clothing, athletic footwear, sunscreen, snack & water, and a small daypack.
