Learn the fine art of primitive traps and snares. From trapping wild game in a survival situation, to setting human “security alarm” traps, this class will teach you to create simple, elegant, and highly functional traps and snares out of nothing more than “sticks and stones”. This is information you are guaranteed to find almost nowhere else.

*1-Day Workshop: $150

This class is offered at our beautiful wilderness camp in the Santa Cruz mountains and will run 1 day (4-5 hours). Come spend a day surrounded by ancient redwoods!

Taught by our experienced survival instructors who have lived these skills and fed themselves using these traps in survival situations, this class will explore the various methods and categories of primitive traps. Dead-fall traps, snares, lethal vs. non-lethal, trigger mechanisms, trip-lines, and various other trapping tools and schema will be discussed. All materials are included in your class fee.

This program is booked on a private/semi-private basis only – we do not have public class dates available. Form your own group and contact us to set up a date.
